In accordance with the X^th plan profile of Higher Education in India under Para 10.B2, a SC / ST / Minority Cell has been established in Jhargram Raj College to ensure effective implementation of reservation policy in admission, recruitment, allotment of staff quarters, hostels, etc.

At the outset of every academic session the Cell prepares data of SC / ST / Minority students from the admission register available with the college. The Cell acts as a facilitator and tries to ensure that the targeted students receive their stipends/ scholarships/ fellowships on time. Apart from these, the Cell takes necessary steps towards redressal of grievances in the event of any complain registered with it.
