Research Interest:

Crystal Engineering, Supramolecular Chemistry, Nano- materials, supramolecular Gels, Pharmaceutical Cocrystal

  • Designing salt based functional organic materials namely Low molecular Weight Gelators (LMWGs), Pharmaceutical Cocrystal and Supramolecular Capsule etc. by applying Crystal Engineering rationale are my present research activities at Indian Association for the Cultivation of Science (IACS), Kolkata, India
  • I am also actively engaged in synthesizing materials derived from Inorganic building blocks such as fluorescent metal clusters (MCs) and metal nano-particles (MNPs) by using our suitably designed salt based supramolecular gels.
  • Studies on structure-property correlations of new functional materials with structurally similar compounds using various techniques such as Single crystal X-ray crystallography, Powder X-ray diffractometer, FT-IR, NMR etc.
